To obtain information regarding Arizona's business climate, economic research information, small business services (licensing, resources), relocation or expansion assistance and incentives (tax credits, grants), contact the Arizona Department of Commerce. The Arizona Department of Commerce serves not only those who are just starting a business, but also companies interested in relocating to Arizona, existing Arizona companies that are expanding and Arizona high technology companies that are seeking SBIR/STTR grants. Also, the Agency directs inquiries to other state agencies and/or regional entities as needed.

The Arizona Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network provides no-charge, confidential one-on-one business counseling to current and potential entrepreneurs through its eleven offices across the state. ASU Technopolis and the Arizona Center for Innovation at UA offer assistance to very early stage start up companies with a high tech product or services.  They focus on technology transfer, SBIR/STTR, venture capital, angel funding, shareholder agreements, small business accounting, intellectual property and office management as well.

Stealthmode Partners, the Arizona provider of the Kauffman Foundation FastTrac programs, offers a complete resource network for entrepreneurs and businesses looking to grow to the next level, as well as angel investors and others who seek to work with entrepreneurs.
